Daddy and Momma BiRD

Here's What I Did
I found these little ugly birds at the Dollar Tree (they do have a cute shape).
I actually bought 5 of them and then just picked out one that looked like a Daddy and one that looked like a Momma. Can you guess which is which? Then I rattle canned them BLuE.

I found these three different pieces at Hobby Lobby (all 50% off).

I stacked them up, put a little birds nest in the top and the birds down below.

It's kinda hard to see the detail in the photo, so here are some close ups.

I've had this nest for like 4 years.

I think it might need a little ribbon on the top. We will see.

Thanks for stopping by,

  7. What a pretty vignette! Love the nest in the cloche, and I love how you spray painted the birds, I never think to grab the tchotchkes when all they need is a glossy new paint job.

Thanks for sharing your creative vignette. I'd love it if you stopped by at Throwback Thrusdays and linked up something you created before blogging. I'm sure you have tons of things you're proud of that haven't had their "Tada!" moment on your blog.
