Sis needed a toy box for her living room. She has two little boys that love cars and trains and needed a place to store them.
This is what we found at the D.I. (local thrift store) for $15.
I know, a good deal huh!
I know, a good deal huh!
We just cleaned it up and then decited to paint the whole thing bluish gray,
hardware and everything.
Then I sanded it down. Sis wanted this to look pretty rustic so we went to town with the sander.
I sanded the hardware too.
And lastly, I stained over the whole thing with my favorite stain.
I know my shadow is in this photo but the sun was going down fast and I didn't have too many options.
Now you have an idea of what my hair looks like when I am redoing. Scary.
See the difference. I love it!
After we were all done we thought it looked a little dark, so we wiped it down with some Mineral Spirits and it lighted it right up. Here it is!
Thanks for stopping by and
I hope you EnJoyED yourself!
